How much will it cover?
It's all about how you use it. How heavy or light each person applies the product is one variable, but there are other variables like porous surfaces, sharp bends/curves, holes or thin pieces like wheel spokes, etc. With that said, here is what you can expect to cover with your touch up.
Touch Up Pen (chiseled nib applicator) is specifically designed for small jobs like rock chips and minor scratches (think the size of a pencil eraser or smaller). The pen will usually cover all of the rock chips you can find on your vehicle with more paint to spare.
Touch Up Brush is designed to handle slightly larger chips and scratches (think the size of a quarter). The brush allows for much more efficient spreading of the paint on these broader areas. It can also be useful on smaller scratches and chips like the touch up pen.
Combo is the best of both worlds and a personal favorite of mine. It's called the Combo because it's a combination of both the Pen and the Brush. The Combo applicator will give you the confidence you need to tackle any small touch up job on your vehicle. Like the other applicators, it will hold enough paint to handle all of your rock chips, scratches, nicks, dings, etc.
All of our touch up applicators will cover a lot of damage, but they are not intended for repainting areas as large as the palm of your hand.
